First, my sweet girl Ginger. I wish you all could feel how wonderfully soft and luxurious her coat is; everyone remarks on it when they pet her. Our vet says she has the nicest fur if any dog he's ever seen. And she's a sweetheart, too.
Next up: some flowers blooming in my yard.
And last, a couple of photos taken as I drove home yesterday. The first one is beside my house. Spring is my favorite season, and I just love bright sunny days like these!
Spring is an uplifting time of the year. How are you getting on with your new bicycle?
ReplyDeleteI love it! It's so comfortable to ride and the weather has been perfect!
Delete"Pretty Pictures"... as if you ever share pictures that AREN'T pretty! I can in the photo alone how lustrous Ginger's coat is.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mitchell! I'm afraid my blog is kind of boring. My life is far from exciting, but I like it. :)
DeleteYour blog is not boring. It's colorful and serene, and your pictures are lovely!
DeleteI agree with Chris. Definitely not boring.
DeleteThank you, guys! You both are always so kind. ❤
DeleteMitchell is right, you can see from the photo how soft and lustrous Ginger's coat is. The sort of fur you want to smoosh your face in. (Well I do, anyway). By the way, I saw "Big little lies" in the local library last week and remembered your review, so I picked it up. And you are spot on, unputdownable.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed the book!!
DeleteGinger looks perfect; my kinda dog 100%.
ReplyDeleteShe's a great dog! Our sweetheart!
DeleteGinger has a kind face. She reminds me a bit of my previous much adored dog, though he was the colour of her paws all over ,with a white bib and toes and pointy ears! He had lovely thick fur round his neck, and when I knew I wouldn't have him for much longer, I used to take his collar off and bury my hands in it. I can still feel it now. Making me cry! I now have a mini schnauzer, who will be 4 in June. ( and a yorkie who isn't mine but lives here apart from daytime when she keeps her elderly owner company)
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm sorry you cried for missing your sweet dog. Ginger is very kind, and so smart...she's like a third human who lives with us.
DeleteI love the pictures Jennifer. Looks like you live in a really lovely locality. I love Spring too.
ReplyDeleteSpring is especially pretty around here. Summer is too hot, and winter is just dull and brown, but this time of year is nice!
DeleteWhen I found out your address I had a look round your neighbourhood courtesy of Street View. People have so much space in Florence. Even modest homes have generous plots. Here in Sheffield we are much more tightly packed.
ReplyDeleteIt's true, we have nice sized lots. The one our house sits on is close to 1/2 an acre. I wouldn't want to live any closer to my neighbors...a big yard is important to us!
DeleteHaving read Mr Pud's comment, I also went to Florence via Google street view. I landed randomly on Bellaire Drive ( though I have no idea where you actually live) and I see what he means about having so much space! It all looks so open with so many green lawns and large gaps between the bungalows.Do you call them " bungalows"? If you are to have a look via google at Station Rd. Harpenden UK , you will see my neighbourhood and how different it looks!!
