Snow day

What a beautiful, rare event snow is in South Carolina. Children were out in the streets well past dark, shouting with joy. Even the dogs ran and played in the snow, like little kids themselves. We ended up with about 2 inches here in Florence. Isn't it gorgeous?

  1. It IS gorgeous. I doubt we got a quarter of an inch and it was still magical.
And okay. That's enough. I want it to warm up!

    1. That photo was taken after about an inch of snow had fallen. We got another inch after dark. I have more photos to share later, and of course I'll take more in the morning! I love it!

  3. I must be alone, because I really hate snow! We had about half a centimetre recently, that soon melted (thank goodness). Snow, for me, should stay on Christmas cards!

  4. I am envious. We had a light dusting and I wanted enough to bring everything to a standstill.

  6. Wet and windy here, and both very much so. Too warm for snow, but as you know, we had a lottle bit in November and December.
