Since seeing a meal of "fish and chips" over at Yorkshire Pudding's blog the other day, I've had a craving. So today I went to Tubbs restaurant for lunch to satisfy it.
Delicious fried flounder, waffle cut fries, hush puppies, coleslaw, and (un)sweetened iced tea. I cleaned the plate!
Tubbs has the best seafood in this whole area. Lucky for me, it's only a few blocks from my house!
Goodness... Oh Lord please send me there quick. This looks so good. Even the coleslaw looks not swimming in dressing ! Now I am trying to find a place I can order some.
I love the fish and chips in England, but yours in South Carolina look pretty awesome too! That cole slaw looks really good too. You are lucky to live near this nice place to eat!
Some commenters above have no idea what hushpuppies are! HA-HA-HA! Isn't that amazing! To help them out... A hushpuppy is a small, savoury, deep-fried ball made from cornmeal-based batter. Sorry to see that Tubbs Restaurant can't afford glasses for the iced tea and have to use jam jars instead! By the way, the meal looks scrumptious and yet very few calories!

It's homemade coleslaw made with apple cider vinegar, and it's not swimming in dressing at all!
