Kindergarten Halloween

I always enjoy the chance to stroll down the kindergarten hall at work. There's usually really cute student work on display beside each classroom door, and sometimes it's pretty funny, too.

Take a look at some of these Halloween gems I spotted this morning, and try not to smile. :)

This last one made me laugh. Check out the tiny halo!!

Hahaha!

Oh, to be five or six years old at Halloween again!

  4. Jesus was an odd choice, but kids are more inventive than we are.

  5. My favourite is the "skelton". It's done so cleverly with just a few lines.

  6. I have always been in awe of kindergarten teachers. When I taught elementary school, I always enjoyed walking down the K hall. It warmed my heart. And to be a kindergarten teacher at this time of year isn't for the faint of heart!

  8. So fun. Being a kindergarten teacher is not for the faint of heart. Those little darlings are extraordinarily good petrie dishes, and whatever they are incubating, they share! Do your kindergartens go full day?

    1. They do go full day. We have kindergarten through 5th grade and the school day for all is 7:45 to 2:15.

  9. My favorite is Jesus but mostly because of the effortless simplicity of the costume. I couldn't figure out the caterpillar at first. It looked like "cat repair" to me.

  12. Wonderful impressionistic spelling! And brave teachers, but I guess everyone loves their kindergarten teacher!
