A couple of you asked to see the dress I bought for the wedding on my last post. Here's a picture of it on the hanger, followed by the two pairs of shoes I bought. Which ones should I wear with it?
And here's the dress I got really cheap to begin with as a backup in case I failed to find anything better. I'm glad I found something else, to my eyes this looks too dark for a summer wedding, although the material is light and gauzy and cool. Maybe I can wear it to work sometimes in the fall. We'll have summer temperatures right through September at least.
Off to finish a few last minute chores around the house, and to sit outside for a few minutes for a little bit more sun on my legs, arms, and shoulders. There's not a whole lot left to do, thank goodness.

The dress is beautiful, just right for a wedding. I think the white shoes would look more 'special' but the sandals are fine too, especially if you could find a nail polish to match the coral flowers.
Thank you for showing! Theoretically, both pairs of shoes could be worn every day, BUT the lacy ones are an upgrade to the brown sandals and, therefore, a little bit more special.
Wear the most comfortable one to dance in.

Both dresses are lovely and I would have trouble choosing one of them. I do think the white shoes would look the best for the occasion and would go with either dress.

My vote is for the white shoes too, and I like both the dresses, but for me it would be the navy one. It looks lovely and " floaty " and the flowers round the hem lift it into a special occasion dress. Sorry, not very helpful as you prefer the other one!! Have a great time . Any chance of a photo of you both in your finery? Is the weather expected to be good? We are enjoying a sunny warm weekend here in Harpenden.
The white ones are of course more festive, but I would make my choice depending on which handbag/purse you intend to carry. Both dresses are beautiful, and with the broad lacy rim, the dark dress does not look too dark, either.
They are BOTH beautiful dresses. White shoes either way. You’ll be ravishing!
The floral dress is beautiful and the sweetheart neckline is great, universally flattering.

That's a very nice dress Jennifer and, as a well-known women's fashion guru, I recommend that you wear the white shoes with it.
I am late to the conga line of advice. I think you should wear both; change halfway and see if anyone notices.
I love your flowery choice of dress for the wedding, and I would choose comfort for the shoes. If there is outdoor time planned I would wear a pretty sun hat.
I love pretty clothes and both dresses are beautiful. I would wear the white shoes if you want to look more dressy.

Oh boy. I am the wrong person to ask for fashion advice! Honestly I think you'd be well-dressed in either dress, and either pair of shoes would work well. (Wishy washy, I know.)
