Can you spot the baby rabbit? We apparently have a nest in our back yard. This one let me get very close and take a picture, but even from a couple of feet away he was well disguised.
I repotted most of my house plants on Sunday.
The lettuce and radishes in the raised bed are really starting to grow. The carrots are sprouting, too, but you can't tell in this picture.
George and the daffodils.
Spring is here!
No need for you to drive to work any more Jennifer. You can skip singing "Tralee-tralah!" now that springtime is definitely here.
ReplyDeleteAre all those baby bunnies going to be feasting on your garden veggies?
ReplyDeleteYes, well... only kind of up here but I don't doubt for a second you're going to start sending your warm temperatures our way.
ReplyDeleteAnd none too soon! It is looking very spring like here with all the bulbs starting to bloom. And I did spot the little rabbit, how cute.
ReplyDeleteI notice, much like Micthell you have luck with orchids. I sure wish I had luck with them. I'd have tons of them. I think Im on the "Do not Sell To" list of orchids. I have murdered many.
Albert loves baby rabbits lol
ReplyDeleteRabbits, daffodils and blue sky equal spring!
ReplyDeleteHow long will your lettuce grow without it going to seed? I'm curious. Ours is definitely on its way out. And I know I need to pull a lot of my carrots because they are starting to split. We are still a zone or two below you, I guess.
ReplyDeleteI hope you figure out how to save your garden from the Peter Cottontails.
ReplyDeleteI really like your raised bed. You will get wonderful edible treasures from it! Those daffodils are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful spring weekend you had, by the looks of it.
ReplyDeleteAnd: Happy Birthday, dear Jennifer!!

George AS a daffodil. What a sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteAnd now it's your birthday... Happy Birthday Jennifer!
ReplyDeleteBack in 2011 you said, "Today is my birthday. I cannot believe I am 36 years old! How the heck did that happen so fast?" Now it's eleven years later.
Awww, George! I like the pots you used for the houseplants. Very decorative.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see your garden pictures. I'm dreaming of the day the daffodils bloom. I've been hoping for bunny sightings in my yard. I've created a jungle like garden in both my front and back yards and it's become a bit of a wildlife hangout. A fox and her kits are living under my neighbour's back deck at present and as much as I delight in having a foxy neighbour, I fear my bunny friends are on the decline.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to see your blooms! We are several weeks behind you (in Illinois) but we are getting there. The bunnies love to nibble in my garden - hope they don't eat all of your lettuce! You are a wonderful gardener!
ReplyDeleterabbits...taste like chicken
