My sweet old man, George, is the happiest dog I know. I haven't shared a picture of him recently, so here's one I took today. Isn't he the handsomest good boy?
George appears to be laughing. Had you just told him a good doggie joke? The secret to life is to handle every situation like a dog: If you can’t play with it, eat it or bury it, just pee on it and walk away.
George has alegria. Spanish. Hard to translate. Hemingway said it was a happiness that nothing could diminish. Happiness in the moment like the impulse to dance without showing off. *Sus ojos brillaban de alegria ... * His eyes sparkle with joy. I'm reminded of Paul Auster's dog story, Timbuktu.

Of course he is a good dog with a huge smile. Lucky you. Gigi
Good dogs are like medicine for the soul. I love that photo of George!
What a great photo! I bet his heart is as big as his smile 😊❤️
Adorable! What a smile!
There's nothing quite like a Pittie smile. :)
