Two things

Only two things of note happened today. Thing the first:

The latest David Austin catalog arrived in my mailbox. It made pleasant reading in bed before my afternoon nap.

Thing the second:

It's bitterly cold outside, so I contrived something for George to wear on our walk. It's a soft, warm shirt of mine that shrunk in the dryer. He actually seemed to enjoy it! I also put a knit hat on him, but couldn't get a photo of that.

How was your day?

I've never tried dressing Bok. Lady Magnon did ask me if I thought he'd like a raincoat, but I think he's OK; he never shows any signs of being cold.

Ha-ha, now I wonder if Rick would like a jumper like that? It's freezing cold here this morning but he does have a very shaggy coat.

Some catalogues make great bedtime reading, don't they!
My day was relaxed, with a quick trip to Aldi's to stock up on groceries and get fresh food (salad etc.) in, and a walk to my parents' where my sister and I had coffee and Christmas cookies with them before she walked home with me and had another coffee here.
This morning, I stayed in bed until 9:00 - sheer luxury!!

I can almost smell that catalogue. My days up until now have been spent struggling against Apple's self-destruct software update, with a bit of Christmas in between.

That shirt is a good idea! I've been hesitant to buy Olga a coat, because after all dogs come with their own coats -- but a shirt might help insulate them a little more.

My favorite part of this post was hearing that you got an afternoon nap.
The best.

You could start a new business making dog clothes out of people clothes. I think he looks great!

George is adorable. But then I always liked guys with the nerve to knot their T-shirts and bare their mid-sections.

Jennifer said...

Neither does Ginger, but George has extremely short fur and it's been COLD here. We worry about him.

Jennifer said...

Haha! I had to bare his mid-section so that he wouldn't pee on himself! :D

Haha back!!! Maybe that's the real reason all those other guys did it too! So much for that fantasy!

Thanks for visiting my blog. It's cold in my part of South Carolina, too, and I think George looks very dapper in his red shirt. Happy New Year to you!
