The cats would be delighted. You have my sympathy. Lately, I've been waking up early, going back to bed, and then sleeping until 9:30! Work would be an inconvenience.
I'm doing my best to stay safe. We're in a bad situation in this area with Covid but the powers that be have deemed it best for us to return to school in person.

My dogs are like that on most days.
georgie looks comfy.
Don't you sometimes wish you could just hibernate all winter, maybe get up for Christmas and then go back to bed until March!
Oh, George! He definitely has the right idea.
George does a lot of sleeping!
He loves being wrapped up in his blankets!
Yes! I'd like to wake up in time for my birthday in March, and if I'd burned off all my fat to survive the winter, that would be even better!
We had gotten used to sleeping in! He's not a fan of waking up at 6am!
Our dog, Ozzo, loves to bury himself like that, too, Carlos calls it his 'burrito.'
Buster is much the same. He doesn't get up till I do.
Hope all goes good at work. Are you physically back? if so STAY SAFE!
Ha! Olga buries her face like that too sometimes. :)
Yes we are physically back even though our Covid positive rate and death rate is through the roof! It makes NO DAMN SENSE!
Puppy burrito!!!
Maybe it's a bulldog thing? :)
Just how I feel when it's zero centigrade outside and I know I have to get up sooner or later. It looks like Georgie won't be emerging any time soon.
Up and at 'em!
...but stay safe!

He will bury his head in his blanket when you turn on the light and he isn't done sleeping!

Work really does get in the way of sleeping and blogging time!
Stay safe!
Pooches mirror our emotions indeed.
