The other man

My husband has had to accept the fact that there's another man in my life. And isn't he handsome?!

  2. Oh my! I see trouble on the way if Marco hears about this blog post.
He's going to have plenty to say and I don't think he will be leading off with 'Hi Sweetie'.

    1. Haha! You're right. It's funny though...when Marco lets out a big screech, both the dogs will leave the room immediately. Which leads Marco to think he's the boss of us all!

  3. He is SO handsome. And his eyes tell me he's soulful, too.

  4. I saw a dog the other day who looked a lot like your darling Georgie and I said, "Now THAT is what a dog should look like."
I am not making that up.

    1. What a sweet thing to say! The problem with George's looks is that from the right angle he looks just like a pit bull. The vet thinks he's a pit bull/yellow Lab mix. But people are scared of a dog that looks like a PB, especially when they're as big as George. He's a good boy, though.

    1. Haha! Yes, they made up immediately. George adores Ginger and treats her with respect...especially when she "lays down the paw"!

  6. You can tell by his eyes that he is an old soul and as gentle as the day is long. Are is ears like velvet?

Sometimes I wonder what my husband thinks when I kiss and hug Norbert and tell him I love him so much.

  8. My first dog was that colour, and he had the white bits on his toes!...though his ears were " sticky up" rather than floppy. He was some sort of mixed breed..never did know what as he was a rescue. George looks gorgeous.

    1. Mixed breeds are the best! My other dog is a Heinz 57, and she's the best dog in the world! So smart and healthy. Ginger and George were both rescues.

  9. Didn't George Harrison have a hit with a song called "My Sweet George"?

    1. I know! He has the pitiful look down pat. And when he wants attention he whines like a little puppy. Big old oaf that he is!

  11. His eyes say, I need some love, take me for a walk, and a treat wouldn't be amiss. My dog's eyes say all of that too.
