Got snow?

No? Do you want it to snow? If so, I have good news!

My 7 year old friend Little P. shared a method for summoning snow with me this afternoon and it's sure to work!

Step 1: Flush ice cubes down the toilet.

Step 2: Put your pajamas on backwards.

Step 3: Put a spoon under your pillow, then go to sleep.

And voila! Here comes a snow day!

So says a little boy who's longing to see some snow for the first time. I hope he gets his wish.

I do those things more and more as I get older, but my snow rate remains roughly the same.

We had lots of snow in the mountain and a day of snow at the home plus rain.
We need it so much.
Hope your little friend gets to see some snow.

Shhhh, don't tell him, but I got snow without putting my pajamas on backwards.

I love snow. We got just about four inches on Sunday.

May his wish come true.

He could get his mother's washing powder and throw it around his house. That would certainly look like snow.

Oh, Little P.! I hope he gets his wish too.

Did you try his recipe for getting snow? He lives in hope.

I want snow here so badly.
I'll be taking Little P's advice!

Not being a fan of snow, I must remember never to flush ice cubes down the loo, put my pyjamas on backwards, and especially never to put a spoon under my pillow!!

Ahhh, he is so sweet! I hope he gets his wish!

Did he make that up on his own? It's certainly a funny and creative way to go about things, very much like Little P.!

I'll follow the steps if it can help Little P! (We don't got snow!)

I like looking at snow but that's as far as it goes.....driving in it or walking on packed snow/ice...forget it! My dog seems to like it though....we had an inch a couple of weeks ago, and he was using his face like a snow plough.....who knows why that pleased him! (He is a schnauzer so lots of facial hair to get the snow stuck in)

Snow be it! May your wish come true, Little P.

I'm still waiting for snow. Perhaps I could try that routine (except I don't wear pyjamas).

I'm not sure if he made it up or heard about it at school. It's awfully cute, though!

We're hoping to see some too, Bob. As you know, it's rare here in SC.

Jennifer said...

He's a cutie! But no, I won't be flushing ice down our toilet!

Jennifer said...

I'm sure she'd love that. Haha.

Lucky you!

Jennifer said...

He would go crazy with joy to see that much snow!

Jennifer said...

Lucky!

It's looking less and less likely this year. I

Four inches sound like the perfect amount.

He's such a funny little guy.

Jennifer said...

And then you should be safe!!

Jennifer said...

He might, but maybe not this year.

He would be astonished if he knew that someone in Spain is trying to help him out!

I have video of Ginger and George playing in the snow several years ago. They loved it!

A boy can hope!

The pajamas sounded like an essential part of the recipe.

We got snow, but those in charge cleaned up the roads really quick and well. It was wonderful seeing the kids outside playing and having the most wonderful time. The sound of laughter of people having fun is so healing.

Where on earth did he come up with that? LOL! Kids are so funny.

Do you know you can buy snow? I just googled it and found some on Amazon (of course, Amazon seems to have everything?!)
Search on Amazon: instant snow powder for kids
There are actually lots of choices!! Who knew???!!

Hang on, I thought that was the procedure for developing X ray vision....

Jennifer said...

I remember hearing crazy stuff like that (but not that, specifically) when I was a little kid. Hahah!

Jennifer said...

He would probably like that even more....X ray vision! He's suddenly showing an interest in girls and what they have under their clothes on their "chests". LOL.

Jennifer said...

That must be so great! In the warm months we enjoy sitting on our porch and hearing the neighborhood kids laughing and playing.

Jennifer said...

Who knew, indeed! Hahaha! Instant snow powder would make a great little gag gift for P.
