Dreaming of you....

....and by "you" I mean my blogging friends.

Night before last, I dreamed I was at the beach, swimming and sunbathing, and there was the most spectacular sunset over the water (which wouldn't be possible in real life, as I'm on the East Coast).  I was taking lots of pictures because I wanted to post them on my blog for everyone to enjoy.

Then last night I dreamed I was planning a trip to England and France and I was making plans to see you all. I started out meeting Tom Stephenson at a pub. We were having a drink and I was admiring his hair, of all things. The one photo I've ever seen of him impressed me with his thick mop of silver hair, and in my dream I was admiring it while we had our drink. I was telling him that my next stop would be Wales because I just had to go meet John Gray, the Prof, and all of the dogs. But then the next thing I knew, I was in France instead, knocking on Cro's door. When he answered, I was surprised to see that he was clean shaven (???) and I wondered why he wasn't wearing a beard anymore. He gave me a hug, and told me to follow him and he'd show me the room in his house where I'd be staying. I guess I was getting ready to spend a few days with him and Lady Magnon! Ha!

Pretty weird, right?

    1. I agree. Bummer.I was really looking forward to it,too! If only my bird hadn't screamed for his breakfast and woken me up, I'd have gotten around to it. Maybe tonight!

  2. What a co-incidence! I has a dream about you Jennifer - in which I had turned into a giant mis-shapen tomato (see your last post). I chased you all the way to the dwarf farmers' market and you were screaming like Olive Oil in the "Popeye" cartoons. Then I woke up.

    1. I used to work with someone who told me I looked like Olive Oil--or is it Oyl? I asked, Does that mean I'm skinny or ugly?

      Both, she said.

I wasn't offended in the least. Our friendship was too good to get upset over such a joke. I thought it was hilarious.

The residents described me as the skinny blonde.

    3. We were. We had so much fun working together. I used to tell the residents we were the comedy act appearing three nights weekly (12 hr shifts).

  3. I'd love to meet John. John, would you like a vacation in Florida? However, I really want to see him in his natural habitat, as if he lives in a zoo. Well, I guess he does. Sunday morning I had one of my weird long dreams that went on forever, and I couldn't get out of it. Willy Dunne Wooters arrived and woke me up by setting off the alarm. I told him what the dream was about, but I can't remember.

    Love,
    Janie

  4. I just had a strange dream that an attractive American woman knocked on my door, and threw her arms round me. Quite naturally, I asked her to stay; who wouldn't!

  5. Funnily enough, although I do dream lots, and often about people I know, my blog or other bloggers have not yet featured in my dreams.
Please give us the next installment, Jennifer!

  6. It doesn't sound weird to me - all all sounds pretty much exactly how it would happen in waking life, until the pub closed, John set the dogs on you or Cro showed you to your room.
