After 17 years of working (and working hard) in retail over the holidays, I can't even process the fact that I have 17 days off over Christmas this year. Today is my first official day off, and we go back to work on January 2. I'm beyond grateful for my new job.
Here's the Christmas tree at our house this year.
Great tree!
ReplyDeleteI was going to ask how your first Christmas off was and you answered.
ReplyDeleteI am beyond happy for you. Days off during the holidays, how wonderful.
Your tree is lovely so pretty and filled with beautiful decorations.
cheers, parsnip

When I walk the dog in the dark I love to see all the different Christmas trees twinkling away in the houses. Yours looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteMay you enjoy every blissful moment of your winter break!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteWow - with a full ten inches to spare.
ReplyDeleteHave 17 days of fun!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful vacation and a beautifully decorated tree. Enjoy the holiday.
ReplyDeleteYour tree looks beautiful but there are not enough baubles, tinsel and lights on it.
ReplyDeleteLooks great. I shall be out with my saw this afternoon, but I won't be able to match your decorations.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a nice tree! I feel the same way you do about working in education. Every time I get frustrated I think, "Well, remember that work schedule!"
ReplyDeleteThat tree is beautifully decorated.
ReplyDeleteWell deserved holidays, and enjoy them Jennifer! That tree is magical; may each bauble bring for you and your family positive wishes for 2018!
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
