I absolutely agree! I thought it was charming and his mom thought it was hilarious. It's nice when black and white folks can laugh together at the absurdity of racism.
If Little P. were my friend, this would be my favourite Christmas card, too - no question about it! Historically, the man behind the Santa legend was from Turkey, as you know of course; so it is improbable that his skin was darker than that of the average Turkish person. But I agree with all the others here - Santa is anything to anyone, as long as you believe in him!
Why shouldn't Santa be black? Makes as much sense as a white Santa.

I like the way that Little P ran out of space with the word "Christmas" and had to squeeze it at the end - dropping the "s" to the line below.
