Joy!

It's been a long four years. I cried tears of pure joy when I heard the news that we have a new President and, on the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage, a new MADAM Vice President!

What a happy, happy day! The champagne is chilling in the fridge!

  11. But what a difficult time for Biden/Harris to be taking over. With all they now have to cope with, I wish them well. Let's hope that Trump now totally disappears!

  12. We are dancing in Washington State. So happy that the dark orange days will soon be over. We can pick up the beer cans and toss the trash of the past four years. Maybe we can make amends for our lapse in judgement to our friends and neighbors. We have hope again.

  16. Al Gore and George Bush were very close in terms of both the popular vote and the electoral college votes. So it's not surprising the result was heavily contested. But Joe Biden is 4½ million ahead in the popular vote and 76 ahead in EC votes. A pretty conclusive victory, I would say.

  17. I'm so glad for all my American friends that common sense has finally prevailed and Trump is on the way out. I still can't quite believe Joe and Kamala have made it, I was so used to Trump's outpourings from the White House. I hope they can begin to heal the huge social divisions that Trump has opened up.
