Trick or Treat!

Marla and her husband brought Carsen over yesterday to trick or treat, along with a one of Carsen's little friends (and her parents).  Look how cute they were! And this picture really doesn't do their costumes justice: Carsen's long sparkly veil, Ella's equally sparkly Wizard of Oz red slippers and little plush dog carried in a basket...

The sweet young couple across the street from us had their two-year-old, Georgia Kate, out trick or treating. Three little nieces and nephews showed up, too, and also three of the grandparents to help hand out candy while the neighborhood trawl was going on. One grandma even dressed up!

Georgia Kate as Minnie Mouse! She's just
turned two and is the most darling little girl.

The neighbor's niblings. Everyone got lots of candy!

We had a handful of other kids from the neighborhood: a Policeman and a Wolf-Man, a Devil and Spiderman. I didn't take pictures of them, but they were awfully cute.

It looks like everybody had a lot of fun, including you 😊
Did you have any candy left after so many visitors?

Much to be preferred and welcomed than some of the more hideous creations.

Cute pictures!!!!!

We don't get many being on a corner, but more than last year! 15 this year and they were pretty good costumes. The Waldo boy was so cute. And as I told Spo, the mother said her son has a very strategic list of the homes from year to year that give the best treasure out. Or the family moved so the house is added back in to see what they give out, which houses to skip...tootsie rolls apparently are not loved by Waldo. She said my house has been on his list the last four years, for the great chocolates and the $5 bill in the bag. A tradition my mother always did. The mother said it's all about quality and not quantity with him. I had a good laugh the longer she talked and he would pipe in.

Wanna bet the kid grows up to be a financial wizard?

Cute kids! Usually I can hear them going from house to house, but this year there was only silence. It was very, very windy, so maybe they all blew away until next year.

We had a fun time also. I took my grandsons around the block while my son handed out candy at home. Everyone had such a good time!
