And here's just one small example of why resistance to the Trump administration is so vitally important for women. Forgive me for putting something so despicable and disgusting on my blog, but the world needs to know what kind of man Trump is and what his values look like:

I despair of our country with this horrific man in charge. He makes me totally sick to my stomach. My stepdaughter is marching in Florida. I hope the 4 horrible years go quickly.
Not just in Washington DC but all over the world, women and supportive men have been standing up against Trump and radical Trumpism. In these marches there is a message of hope for the future.

I have had the coverage on all day. I am so encouraged and just amazed at the protests, not only here but worldwide. I read your comments from Cro's blog and what others had written, though. I found that so many had written basically "let's not worry just yet" or "give him a chance" very disturbing. But I understand they do not have the coverage or interest, obviously, that we do. If, for example, they truly understood what type of people that he has nominated for cabinet positions, perhaps they too would understand our concerns.
Just listening to his remarks at the CIA told you all you need to know about this fool. The man is simply a disgrace.
Okay, I have to add that Sean Spicer's press conference was even more ridiculous than Trump's speech at the CIA. Spicer was practically spitting. There are people in this country who will no longer have health coverage; there are children going to sleep hungry. Yet, these morons are focusing on crowd numbers?

Son marched in The Women's March today in Tucson. The speakers gave shout out to the brothers marching today. I loved it.
It was a great march and the Tucson Police did a great job funneling traffic away from the marchers to keep them safe. We had 15,000 marchers.
Son said he was marching for his sister. There are tears in my eyes.

I know that someone has upset you Jennifer. That same woman upset me some time ago. In the past, she has upset quite a few other bloggers too. Her attempt to take the moral high ground over Trump is utterly stupid but she seems to specialise in provocation and enjoys it. Don't allow her to get under your skin.
I am far away from these events - at least I hope it's far - but nevertheless, this is incredibly uplifting and hopeful. Thank you for posting.

Over the weekend, I have read several well-researched articles about Trump. Those who are informed do not take it lightly, and do not trust on the "checks & balances" so many seem to think will keep him from doing any serious harm.
Although I do not live in the US, of course what happens in your country influences Europe and Germany, too - everywhere in the world, really. Therefore, nobody should NOT be interested.

Trump excusing it by saying it was just "locker room talk" makes all men look bad. What a despicable slug. Kudos to the women's protest that turned into a worldwide event.
