Goodness... Oh Lord please send me there quick. This looks so good.Even the coleslaw looks not swimming in dressing !Now I am trying to find a place I can order some.cheers, parsnip
It's homemade coleslaw made with apple cider vinegar, and it's not swimming in dressing at all! Yummy.
Not fair that I'm reading this at the nadir of my afternoon blood sugar level.
That looks pretty good to me. Not easy to get fish and chips in France.
The fish is perfectly seasoned and fried. I never cared for flounder into I tried Tubbs!
I love the fish and chips in England, but yours in South Carolina look pretty awesome too! That cole slaw looks really good too.You are lucky to live near this nice place to eat!
Fish and chips yum. Now you've gone and done it.
I haven't eaten fish-n-chips for years. You've made me want some!
Looks good! I really like coleslaw, but I don't know what Hush Puppies are (except for a brand of shoes that probably does not exist anymore).
It looks delicious, but what are " hush puppies". ? ....like Librarian, I only know them as a brand of suede shoe !
You beat me to it Frances!
No "sweetea"? I love hush puppies but still can't get used to the idea of waffles with fried chicken!
Neither can I...it sounds weird to me!
Some commenters above have no idea what hushpuppies are! HA-HA-HA! Isn't that amazing! To help them out...A hushpuppy is a small, savoury, deep-fried ball made from cornmeal-based batter. In the southern states of America hushpuppies are frequently served as a side dish with seafood. See this recipe:- http://allrecipes.com/recipe/25241/vickis-hush-puppies/
Sorry to see that Tubbs Restaurant can't afford glasses for the iced tea and have to use jam jars instead! By the way, the meal looks scrumptious and yet very few calories!
Thanks for the hushpuppy explanation! Tubbs is casual, and mason jar glasses are a trend right now.
Oh man that looks gooood! I like my waffle fries a little more crispy (maybe that just the lighting/pic) but other than that? My kind of meal!
