Our cats used to love Christmas Eve; after unwrapping our gifts, we piled all the paper up in the middle of the room and they would dive into it, hiding in the pile, chasing imaginary mice. With decoration, we had to be very careful, and only very few items fell victim to their curiosity over the decades.

I miss Dexter helping me put up the tree..he had a great way of knocking off just the right amount of balls to make it perfect.
They may be thinking that mom and dad have some strange and puzzling hobbies, but they would like to help decorate.
