In the two days before Christmas, I baked about 10 dozen cookies. The three kinds I chose this year were Cherry Walnut Slices, Molasses Spice, and Peanut Butter Blossoms. They were almost all given out to neighbors and friends.
Today I mixed up another double batch of the Molasses Spice cookies, since they were my favorite and we had very few left over. We deserve some Christmas cookies too! Haha.

I baked cookies to. I did half batches. It was just the right amount of cookies for our little gathering.
Yes, you definitely deserve some cookies yourself!
Peanut butter blossoms sound very nice.
Thank you for your beautiful card and kind word! I found it in the mailbox when O.K. and I arrived at my place last night for the next three days, and because there was no mail service on the 25th and 26th, it must have arrived yesterday, on the 27th.
Molasses Spice! I could OD on those!
You always have to make sure there are enough for you, after you give some away. My mother always made Giveaway batches and Stay-At-Home batches!
They look very festive and tasty!
Now that's some serious baking. Your neighbors must love this.
I heartily approve each of the different cookies you baked. Excellent choices and they look so good.
Never heard of any of those but they ALL sound delicious.
Patience above! Good for you! I am about to put into the freeze all the leftover Christmas cookies.
All the cookies look delicious!!!! And I couldn't eat one of them. This season it was all very soft things for me. Might be the first time in a holiday season I lost 10 pounds!!!!!! They all look good Jennifer, but the cherry/walnut really got me drooling.
Molasses spice cookies are delicious. My mom was hooked on the peanut butter blossoms and always baked quite a few dozen extra for the kids.
I'm sorry it was late but I'm pleased that you got it!
They're SO good! They're the ones I baked extra of because they're my favorite of the three. So good with coffee!
I'll make sure to bake enough the first time next year!
I looked all over this town for green candied cherries to add to the red ones in the slice cookies. They would have been REALLY pretty! No good, though. I waited too late.I'll shop earlier next year!
We love our neighborhood and have some truly great neighbors. It's a pleasure to hand out cookies! We gave out small bags of dog treats to our fellow dog walkers, too!
They were all good but the molasses are my favorite!
The molasses cookies are very much like soft gingerbread. The cherry slices are like shortbread with cherries and walnuts mixed in.
Oh no! I'm sorry sorry Maddie, but hey, losing 10 pounds is a small silver lining if you normally gain over the holidays (and who doesn't?)
I'll be having some friends over this week so it will be nice to have some fresh cookies to serve.
I've gotten very lazy in my old age and don't bake too much if I can just buy something at the store! Yours look yummy, Jennifer!
Okay. I refuse to admonish you for baking and scoffing cookies this Christmastime but please do not make a habit of it! Back to lettuce leaves and cucumber slices now.
P.S. Thank you ever so much for the nice Christmas card Jennifer. Much appreciated my friend.
Half batches would be sensible for a small family party.
