I always enjoy the chance to stroll down the kindergarten hall at work. There's usually really cute student work on display beside each classroom door, and sometimes it's pretty funny, too.
Take a look at some of these Halloween gems I spotted this morning, and try not to smile. :)
This last one made me laugh. Check out the tiny halo!!

Six year olds know things!
Haha! Awesome! 😅
Jesus? Now that’s scary!
The intent was clear despite the stabs at spelling. Lovely work!
You go, Nolan! Clearly he is spiritually advanced!
Such a good job sounding out words! You have some special six year olds at your school!
LOL!!!! And they are all clean!!!!
Jesus was an odd choice, but kids are more inventive than we are.
My favourite is the "skelton". It's done so cleverly with just a few lines.
Agreed!
I love the stabs at spelling!
I don't know why, but that one cracked me up!
Glad it made you chuckle!
Six year olds can be pretty weird!
The caterpillar is a little creepy!
Who knows how they come up with these things!
I thought so too!
The kindergarten and first grade students make me laugh regularly. :)
I have always been in awe of kindergarten teachers. When I taught elementary school, I always enjoyed walking down the K hall. It warmed my heart. And to be a kindergarten teacher at this time of year isn't for the faint of heart!
...but why, pray, are the Halloween teachers all carrying Trump buckets?
So fun. Being a kindergarten teacher is not for the faint of heart. Those little darlings are extraordinarily good petrie dishes, and whatever they are incubating, they share! Do your kindergartens go full day?
Ha! Good one!
Our big annual costume parade is this morning (with lots of class parties afterwards) and let me tell you, these kids are HYPED UP.
They do go full day. We have kindergarten through 5th grade and the school day for all is 7:45 to 2:15.
My favorite is Jesus but mostly because of the effortless simplicity of the costume. I couldn't figure out the caterpillar at first. It looked like "cat repair" to me.
These are so cute, Jennifer! Thanks for sharing.
Such great imaginations!
Funny! You gotta love the spelling.
Wonderful impressionistic spelling! And brave teachers, but I guess everyone loves their kindergarten teacher!
