A young woman named Jessie who works with my husband at the pet store is fostering some little hurricane orphans right now. Just look at these tiny babies...!
Lucky little things....to have a pet store manager partnering with a wildlife rehabbing group to give them proper care until they can be released! They would have been dead in hours if she hadn't been willing to take them.
Yes, you are right. They are lucky to have someone to take care of them. I was thinking poor little things because of them being orphaned. Anyway, it is an awfully cute pile of fur!

ReplyDeleteOh my. Bless.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't Marco be beside himself if they were in your kitchen! Good homes to them all.
ReplyDeleteHe would definitely be interested! He likes novel situations.
DeleteFurry, a maximum of four legs apiece and webless, what's not to love?! Poor little things.

Deleteawwwwwwwww adorable !
ReplyDeleteThe one on his back with his little furry bully up slays me! :)
DeleteDarlings.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet that they're curled up with a baby cat of all things! None of them know the difference!
DeleteI recognise the kitten, but what are the others?
ReplyDeleteSquirrels, is my guess...?
DeleteBaby squirrels!
DeleteBless her for taking them in.
ReplyDeleteI've rescued scores of wild birds and one infant squirrel in my life, and believe me, it's a big job for a few weeks. She's got a good heart.
DeleteSo sweet! But, just like humans, they don't remain babies forever, and definitely need good homes where the people are aware of that.
ReplyDeleteOnly the kitten needs a permanent home. The squirrels will end up released in the wild once they're old enough.
Deletethat's way too cute! and an awful lot of broken sleep
ReplyDelete….and the fun part hasn't even started! Wait till those squirrels are crazy juveniles running all over the place!
DeleteYou’re right...
ReplyDeleteMmm hmmm.
DeleteLooks like the makings of a good stew.
ReplyDeleteHahaha!! You never fail to make me laugh, Tom. Thanks for stopping by! :)
DeleteAww. Sleeping babies.
ReplyDeleteAren't they sweet?
DeleteGood on Jessie! Perhaps you could help her out by taking on board two of the squirrels. They could be little playmates for Ginger and George.
ReplyDeleteLittle snacks, more likely.
