Oh my! I see trouble on the way if Marco hears about this blog post. He's going to have plenty to say and I don't think he will be leading off with 'Hi Sweetie'.
Haha! You're right. It's funny though...when Marco lets out a big screech, both the dogs will leave the room immediately. Which leads Marco to think he's the boss of us all!
What a sweet thing to say! The problem with George's looks is that from the right angle he looks just like a pit bull. The vet thinks he's a pit bull/yellow Lab mix. But people are scared of a dog that looks like a PB, especially when they're as big as George. He's a good boy, though.
My first dog was that colour, and he had the white bits on his toes!...though his ears were " sticky up" rather than floppy. He was some sort of mixed breed..never did know what as he was a rescue. George looks gorgeous.
Yes, he is!
ReplyDeleteI love his soft color!
DeleteAnd who could resist?!
ReplyDeleteNot me! I'm such a pushover when it comes to the dogs!

DeleteHe is SO handsome. And his eyes tell me he's soulful, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Colette! He's a good boy.
DeleteI saw a dog the other day who looked a lot like your darling Georgie and I said, "Now THAT is what a dog should look like."
ReplyDeleteI am not making that up.

Deleteawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I think so too!
DeleteI adore his beautiful color and soft eyes.
ReplyDeleteHas he recovered from his spat with Ginger ?
cheers, parsnip and badger
Haha! Yes, they made up immediately. George adores Ginger and treats her with respect...especially when she "lays down the paw"!
DeleteYou can tell by his eyes that he is an old soul and as gentle as the day is long. Are is ears like velvet?
ReplyDeleteSometimes I wonder what my husband thinks when I kiss and hug Norbert and tell him I love him so much.
His ears ARE like velvet! Both of our dogs have the softest ears you ever felt! :)
DeleteHe is really so sweet.
ReplyDeleteHe's my sweetheart!
DeleteIrresistable.
ReplyDeleteThose soft brown eyes get me every time!
DeleteSuch a cutie.
ReplyDeleteLovely boy. I can't resist a nice dog.
ReplyDeleteNeither can I, Cro!

ReplyDeleteMixed breeds are the best! My other dog is a Heinz 57, and she's the best dog in the world! So smart and healthy. Ginger and George were both rescues.
DeleteDidn't George Harrison have a hit with a song called "My Sweet George"?
ReplyDeleteGeorge Harrison was my favorite Beatle! :)
DeleteOh, Georgie is so handsome and does the pathetic look extremely well. Oh, love me. Won't someone love me?
ReplyDeleteI know! He has the pitiful look down pat. And when he wants attention he whines like a little puppy. Big old oaf that he is!
DeleteHis eyes say, I need some love, take me for a walk, and a treat wouldn't be amiss. My dog's eyes say all of that too.
