Happy Halloween! I'm pressed for time this morning but I didn't want to let the day go by without wishing you all a safe and fun holiday! Here is the result of a bottle of wine and a couple of hours of work with my friend Meg back in 2011.

The tiki pumpkin was my very own creation and remains my favorite! |
Wow. Really good. You and Meg should get drunk more often! The tiki pumpkin looks like she has a hangover!
ReplyDeleteMeg moved to Texas, the hussy. We only see each other about once every two or three years nowadays.
DeleteHappy Halloween to you, too, dear Jennifer!
ReplyDeleteI agree- the Tiki pumpkin is stellar!
Those are really cool pumpkins. I have one and I am still trying to figure out what to do with it.
ReplyDeleteDid you dress up in costume to go to work today?
ReplyDeleteNo, the school didn't allow students to wear costumes so it wouldn't have been appropriate. They were afraid it would be too distracting!
DeleteGreat work and a recommendation for wine.
ReplyDeleteWe had a really good time!
DeleteThose are definitely far more impressive pumpkins than I have ever made! Happy Halloween to you too. Of course I loved Halloween when I was a kid and I lived in a place where I knew my neighbors. But now, being in a city, it's all very depersonalized and somehow just not as fun. (And yes, we're hiding out in the back of the house and we've had no trick-or-treaters. :) )
ReplyDeletetalented carvers!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteHave you seen John's pumpkin? It might make you laugh.
ReplyDeleteI've seen it before. It IS pretty funny!
