Small

My life feels awfully small sometimes, but even so, it's a comfortable, cozy kind of life.

Small is beautiful. And so is your tree.

nothing wrong with small.

Your tree makes me happy too. A tall tree and a sometimes small life sounds like a recipe for a good life.

Beautiful !
I think in winter we all feel small, closed in. We were going to get our tree today but life got in the way but this week for sure. Still working on the Christmas card. . . so late.

Why on earth would you ever feel 'small'? I quite expect all your children at school will always remember you, and no doubt people are grateful for Greg helping them, and making their lives better. You'd be surprised how important that it; it's not just the big-wigs who are important.

Indeed, there is nothing "awful" about a "small" life. A million times preferable over a "big" life that harms other people with its actions and words (you can probably guess who I am referring to).
Your tree is beautiful! I am in two minds about setting one up in my home this year for the first time; it doesn't make much sense since I will be spending all of Christmas away, first at my parents' and then at O.K.'s. But I so love the idea of having my own tree!

Sometimes, what feels like a small life is really the best life. Yours looks wonderful from here.

A comfortable, cozy life sounds pretty good to me.

Nice tree! We're skipping the tree this year since we'll be away. But I have one in the library at work, so that fulfills my tree needs. :)

Small is best.

Nice tree. I don't do them. Big Seig might think I brought a porta-potty into the house.

Thank you Ms. Moon.

I love my cozy little house!

I agree, although sometimes I wish for more adventures!

The tree is only 7.5 feet, and with the star on top it touches the ceiling!

I guess what I meant by "small" was the fact that I've never had the opportunity to travel and I live within 30 miles of where I was born. Sometimes I'm afraid I've missed out.

When I had a little apartment by myself I had a tiny artificial tree with colorful lights and a few small ornaments. It was super easy to put up and take down, and it was cheerful! (I was hardly ever home; besides working full time to support myself I was a full time student, too). I wouldn't have bothered with a large tree back in those days, nor did I have room for it anyway. :)

And I don't forget how lucky I am that the place I live is relatively peaceful and safe. I think of you often, Yael.

YOURS looks wonderful from HERE! What I wouldn't give to even be able to travel to Spain, much less live there! Thank you Mitchell.

I'm usually very content, and for that I'm grateful.

Our school library has a beautiful Christmas tree this year! I'll have to post pictures of it here. I'm glad you have a tree to enjoy even if it is at work!

It certainly beats stressful and complicated!

Haha! A coworker just told me about her big goofy dog knocking a treasured glass ornament off the bottom of her tree with his wagging tail. She couldn't be mad at him, of course, because he wasn't being naughty and she should have known better than to hang anything valuable that low on the tree. :)

I haven't even shopped for Christmas cards yet.... I need to get a move on! Thanks for the reminder!

the majority of thems with 'small life' are quite happy with this; many with 'big' are not.
