George watching Cesar Millan on YouTube this morning:
Marco out on the porch watching the birdfeeder. When a strong, warm wind started blowing, I asked him what he thought and he said, "Good! Good!"
And finally, Ginger hard at work on her biggest foxhole in the back yard.
I think that George is picking up training tricks to use on humans. And I love Marco saying, "Good! Good!" He's such a fine little feathered man. And look how glossy Ginger's coat is. What a healthy happy dog.
ReplyDeleteGinger has the most amazing coat of any dog you ever met, Ms. Moon. It's so velvety and delicious feeling that people ALWAYS comment on it. It's like a super expensive rich person's fur. She's a sweet girl, too. The perfect dog to hug and cuddle.
Deletewow, thanks for the pet pix! it's 63F at 2:15p here on 1/11/20 - WTF?
ReplyDeleteWTF, indeed.
Deletesuch lovely pets you have.
ReplyDeleteHhhmm, my dogs don't dig. it's interesting to see that your lawn is still green. And while AM in Philly had 63, here in Central PA we hit 68 (F). Can we talk about climate change?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely we can. It's for real.
DeleteLovely photos. Or, as Marco said, Good. Good.
ReplyDeleteSometimes he nails it!
DeleteIt really annoys me when the dogs dig-up the lawn.
ReplyDeleteShe's never actually damaged a lawn or any of my plants (with one exception, a huge rosemary bush she and George tried to tunnel under) preferring instead to dig one or two fox holes that she keeps "improving". She can get her whole body inside the current one. I haven't the heart to fill it in, she's so proud of it! Hahah.
DeleteNice to see your dogs and Marco. Glad he is ok. My dog would be in so much trouble if he started digging in the garden!!
ReplyDeleteShe rarely damages anything, thank goodness. Her foxholes are important to her.
DeleteI wish we had Ginger when we were planting bamboo in our back garden in San Diego!
ReplyDeleteThat girl LOVES...I mean LOVES...to dig. She treats it like a job or something!
DeleteIt seems Marco is back to his usual self, isn't he. You must be so glad!
ReplyDeleteI am glad! He's doing fine.
DeleteI think Ginger has been watching the news about the erratic orange man and is perhaps digging her own b*mb shelter. :(
ReplyDeleteShe's a damn smart dog. Stranger things than that are true. :) Thanks for the comment.
DeleteCésar Felipe Millán Favela is a Mexican-American dog trainer with over 25 years of canine experience. He is widely known for his Emmy-nominated television series Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan, which was produced from 2004 to 2012 and is broadcast in more than 80 countries worldwide. However, I had never heard of him until I checked out this blogpost.
ReplyDeleteI am a big believer in Cesar Millan. His methods work wonders for dogs, and I'm not sure we could have kept George in the early days without the help of his videos and books. :)
DeleteHow nice to see what your furry and feathered family members are doing today! I love Marco's comment. That soup you made the other day sure did look good too. I've read your blog but not commented before. I just noticed that you are in South Carolina. My husband, Tom, grew up in Columbia.
ReplyDeleteBonnie!! Welcome! I live in Florence, which as you (or your husband) should know, is very close to Columbia. Thank you for stopping by, and thank you for the comment. :)
DeleteWow! Ginger is a digger!
ReplyDeleteThat she is!
