I got my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine this afternoon. I barely felt the needle, my arm is only very slightly sore, and so far there haven't been any other side effects. Oh, and we got these cute purple wrist bands!
Shot number two is set for March 12. I'm very, very grateful for the friend who made this happen.

Good on you. Hopefully you get through with no side effects. My dad just finished his second shot and is doing great!

Just woke up (1:30am) from a particularly horrible nightmare and my arm is very sore. I'm reading the blog to calm down a bit before going back to sleep. Vivid nightmares are highly unusual for me, so it must be the jab.
Still totally worth it, of course.

Yes, every vaccinated person is that much closer to herd immunity!
I love the wristband too! I plan to save them along with our CDC shot record cards as souvenirs of this whole crazy year(s).

Had mine yesterday evening. Slept fine but just feeling a bit 'off' today. I only got a sticker!
It's great that such a young woman like you managed to get her first jab so early in the vaccination process. Why - you are not much older than our little Phoebe! Even better that Uncle Gregg got his first shot!
Wrist bands are nice. All I got was a sticker. And the Pfizer vaccine is supposed to be very effective.
