    1. Hahaha! You're going to laugh when I tell you...red wine on ice! Oh, the horror! lol. We've had a terrible heat wave this week and the only way I could stand to sit on the back porch and drink red wine was to add ice. 😪🍷

  3. Your pomegranate must be doing well! When it's hot I like wine coolers on ice. Actually, to be honest I like most all alcohol on ice. I even drink amaretto on ice.

    1. It's doing really well! Covered in flowers and what I hope are tiny fruit.

  4. Such a delicate and gorgeous flower! I don't think I have ever seen pomegranate blossoms before.
As for wine on ice, I prefer red wine at about room temperature. But rosé and white wines have to be well chilled. And nothing beats a really cold shandy on a hot day, at the end of a long walk or hike!

    1. Cold beer mixed with lemonade. The ultimate refresher!
And as you know, I am quite partial to a G&T, not to mention Apérol Spritz.

    2. Hmmm....that doesn't really sound very good, but if you enjoy it, I'll take your word for it that it IS good! What kind of beer do you use?

    3. I rarely make it myself, you can buy it ready-made in restaurants, bars and supermarkets or they mix it for you. It has a very low alcohol level and is really very nice. Just regular beer, I'd say, but I am no expert when it comes to beer :-)

  5. Red wine on ice!!! You’re a joy! I thought it was a pomegranate martini. The flower is breathtaking... just like you.

    1. Gregg plucked that fallen blossom from the ground and presented it to me. Isn't it pretty?
