Recurring

It snowed again last night! I can't believe we've had snow two Saturday mornings in a row. We only got about half the amount of last week, but it was still pretty.

Shortly before dawn:

Then a couple of hours later when we took a walk...

Apparently January 29th is a good day for snow in South Carolina, because these popped up on my Facebook memories from this day in 2014. We had just adopted George the previous month.

I sure wish Ginger was here to romp in the snow with George again. She's still loved and missed.

What beautiful pictures all around!!! I love the snow. We got some here in Harrisburg when I was leaving yesterday... not much, but here in Bucks County we got about 5". George in some pictures reminds me of my mother's ridgeback. He doesn't have any in him does he?

People ask us that all the time. When he gets excited a very prominent strip of fur stands up along his spine! I have no idea, but I guess it's possible. :)

I'm beginning to think he must be!

That-s the trouble with having dogs - their lives are shortr than ours and they leave heartache behind.

The snow slipped right by us up here in Central PA.

Little P must be ecstatic. It looks beautiful... and not overwhelming.

Little P must have been busy, flushing all those ice cubes down the toilet.

All this snow! Make sure you don't slip and fall down on your ass (English: arse). Nice to see pictures of Ginger again.

I love that picture of George on the street with the sunny blue sky behind him.

I have a message for little P: 'Please turn your pajamas right side to. Thank you.'

A dusting is pretty as long as it doesn't stick around too long!

Hi Jennifer. I do pet portraits and I'd like to do Ginger. I've already painted Olga for Steve Reed and I'm doing Rosemarie Robotham's Munch. Let me know if you're interested. Vivian Swift, vivianswift at yahoo dot com.
