Check your spam!

I think Blogger is acting up again. I found some friends' comments in my spam folder, and I've noticed some comments I left on other blogs this morning never showed up.

If that's been a problem for you in the past, you might want to check!

  1. I check the spam every day and there's almost always a comment in it, sometimes comments from ages ago that I've already approved. It's mystifying!

  2. I just checked. There's two of yours in it. I have released you from quarantine.

  3. With all the day to day stresses and struggles you go through; this is like adding a rotten cherry on top of a rancid sundae. Oh rats, now I want ice cream! Hugs, sweetie.

  4. I check Spam daily. I go months with nothing in the folder and then suddenly there's a run. Right now, nada.

  5. Girl, I get comments in my spam from years ago that show up, that had already published to a post. I have no idea why this is happening, it's crazy. But I have been checking daily now for the last month or so to make sure that new comments didn't go in.

  6. I've not been around in awhile (worse luck!) So far Blogger doesn't seem to be doing any shenanigans at my end.

  7. What I cannot understand is that the majority of MY spam comments are my own, old comments that were suddenly unpublished and marked as spam. Isn't that crazy?

  8. Thank you for the timely tip, I went and checked my spam folder and all that was in it was two good comments and no spam. So I published the two comments.

  9. I check mine every morning. I even find some of my own replies in there!!!

  10. I check mine regularly, too. What I find particulalry odd is that even my own replies to comments on my own blog sometimes end up as spam. One should think it would not be so hard to program the spam filter to NOT declare as spam a comment of the blog owner.
