Hello from the t-shirt table!

I'm at work, stationed at the t-shirt table in the gym. I've already sold several and it's only 8:30am!

It sure is nice to see everyone. Coming back to work doesn't feel bad at all. And it's nice seeing returning students and how much they've grown over the summer!

    1. Yeah, when the year really starts things will be very different. Right now everything is relaxed and I'm making more than my regular hourly rate....$25 an hour to sit here with a book, reading and selling shirts!

  4. That looks like hard work! You will be stressed out when you get home but don't worry because Gregg will have made you a delicious evening meal before running you a warm bubble bath!

    1. Seriously! Oh, dear, how exhausting it all is! I shall collapse on the bed when I return home! I hope Gregg's cooking something good! Hahahahahahah!

  5. I'd buy a yellow t-shirt :-)
My Mum worked for about 20 years at the school library. She often said how she never ceased to be amazed at how much some of the students grew over the summer holidays. Especially with the boys - some were kids with high-pitched little boys' voices before the holidays, and returned with deep voices, sounding and looking like young men only six weeks later.

    1. The boys always grow the most, it seems. It's amazing.

  6. when I went to work at my current employer, one of me co-workers had a 5 year old son. that kid is now a senior in college. and every time I see him, he grows taller and grows more handsome. he takes after his mom; thank the dogs and cats cause his father is an ugly dumbass.

  7. I see the local school's parking lots beginning to fill as teachers get ready for the new year. Best wishes to you, Jenn, for a super year.
