Happy Easter! Have a smile.

Happy Easter everyone! I was feeling pretty depressed yesterday, so I'm trying hard to have a better day today. I bought a ham last week that I'm going to be baking, and I'm planning to make deviled eggs and biscuits to go with it. On Friday I went to the strawberry farm and got a beautiful basket of berries and I think I'll bake a cake, too. If only we could have friends over to share our feast with......but enough of that. I realize we're lucky. And in case you're feeling down on this Easter Sunday, too, here's a few funny/cute memes I found to share.

    LOVE the marjolein works; reminds me of old-fashioned easters.

    spouse is having a ham slice for dinner; I will have lasagna. we will also have wine.

    peeps are made (just born) only 1 hour from my location!

    Well what a great way to pull us out of our Easter funk. We are having such a bad start missing our grandkids who always come for a big Easter meal and egg hunt. Love all the cards, perhaps I should post some of ours? Happy Easter Jennifer.

    That big bunny with the two kids is the stuff of nightmares! Did you receive a chocolate egg from The Fish Guy? Maybe he only gives out fish eggs at Easter.

      No chocolate eggs here, in fact, no Easter candy at all. :( And I so love Cadbury Eggs!

      Pressure Gregg by slyly telling him that I bought Shirley a chocolate egg. Also, Easter eggs are now reduced in price at the supermarket.

      Marjolein Bastin has the prettiest artwork! When my grandmother died a couple of years ago and I was going through some of her things I found a MB ornament that had birds on it. Apparently Hallmark sells them!

    The kids with the Easter bunny - that is one scary picture!
    The drawing of the Easter nest is particularly pretty.
    Your meal sounds good; it is a little early here for strawberries, but there are imported ones from Spain and other countries in the shop; so far, I have not bought any. Maybe we won't get many in this area this year - almost everyone working on our fields comes from Romania or Poland, and they are having great difficulties in getting travel permission.

      That's too bad about the strawberries. I saw on the news the other night where farmers in Florida were having to let tons of vegetables rot in the fields because of the lack of workers and the closing of so many restaurants and food service places. It hurt my heart, it really did. :(

    Hope your Easter was a good one. I too made a feast of lamb for myself and a neighbor...we visited with our social distance skills....granted...neither of us has been anywhere since March 13.
