Six hours from now I'll be leaving work with the long winter break stretching out in front of me! I'm not overly excited about the holidays this year, but the break is sorely needed. I don't go back to work until January 6th.
I'm going to get as many of these as possible!
Stay well! Take it easy and frolic when you feel like it! A break sorely needed, dear one! Have all of the jollies!
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful winter break with only good surprises!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break. Relax and get recharged. Wishing you the best for the New Year.
ReplyDeleteParanormal John
Ours just started yesterday, so I'm right there with you! We go back on the 6th as well.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the peacefulness o/f it all and do whatever it is you choose!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy it!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good plan, Jennifer. Take care of yourself and Gregg too! Relax, rest, and have fun!
ReplyDeleteHurray! I bet you can knock off every one of those bingo cards. Some I would do more than once!
ReplyDeleteYou and Gregg deserve a leisurely wind-down. 2024 has handed you some highs, but mixed in with that has been some really tough stuff. Do all those things!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt‘s a good feeling, isn‘t it! I hope you can complete the entire Winter Break Bingo!
ReplyDeleteBecause Jan 6 is a Bank Holiday in my part of Germany, most of us only go back on the 7th.
Remember, it's not the ones you claim - it's the number of times you go around the board. Here's wishing you a full-couch lifestyle.
ReplyDeleteTeachers are too tired to enjoy the first week of a holiday and just when they're becoming accustomed to time to themselves, the new term starts . . . or was that just me?
ReplyDeleteLoving the bingo idea though I'll probably swap hot chocolate for a hot toddy and baking cookies to making a curry from scratch. Enjoy the time off.
ReplyDeleteJohn!!! So good to see you here, it's been ages! I'll have to go see if you're updating your blog again. :)
DeleteI agree about the hot toddy. I'm not a huge fan of hot chocolate, and a drink or two helps make the holidays a bit more merry!
Take care, and happy holidays to you!
Have a wonderful and relaxing break.
