T-minus 6 hours

Six hours from now I'll be leaving work with the long winter break stretching out in front of me! I'm not overly excited about the holidays this year, but the break is sorely needed. I don't go back to work until January 6th.

I'm going to get as many of these as possible!

Sounds like a good plan, Jennifer. Take care of yourself and Gregg too! Relax, rest, and have fun!

Hurray! I bet you can knock off every one of those bingo cards. Some I would do more than once!

You and Gregg deserve a leisurely wind-down. 2024 has handed you some highs, but mixed in with that has been some really tough stuff. Do all those things!!!!

It‘s a good feeling, isn‘t it! I hope you can complete the entire Winter Break Bingo!
Because Jan 6 is a Bank Holiday in my part of Germany, most of us only go back on the 7th.

Remember, it's not the ones you claim - it's the number of times you go around the board. Here's wishing you a full-couch lifestyle.

Teachers are too tired to enjoy the first week of a holiday and just when they're becoming accustomed to time to themselves, the new term starts . . . or was that just me?

Loving the bingo idea though I'll probably swap hot chocolate for a hot toddy and baking cookies to making a curry from scratch. Enjoy the time off.

John!!! So good to see you here, it's been ages! I'll have to go see if you're updating your blog again. :)

I agree about the hot toddy. I'm not a huge fan of hot chocolate, and a drink or two helps make the holidays a bit more merry!

Take care, and happy holidays to you!

Given your recent health travails, I hope you are well enough to enjoy your long break from work Jennifer. By the way, your card arrived today. Thank you so much! I am sorry to say that did not send you a card this year but I will be sending you a special e-card in the next couple of days. Fond regards, Neil x

Merry Christmas, Jennifer!

Merry Christmas Jennifer. The card you sent me is a beauty and there is one with cardinals on it, on its way to you. I always think of cardinals when I think of you. I think on your blog you mention cardinals in your yard.
