  1. I love trees, and I hate it when new subdivisions are built and all of the trees are cut down. That's a great graphic!

  2. I like that; a cheery start to my Friday as I await the warmer days ... though we'll be in the upper 70s for a couple of days until the cold comes back on Monday!

  3. The lungs of the earth work mighty hard. I love trees.

  4. We have, I believe, just passed the halfway point in winter. Honestly, I would not object if it started warming up now.

  5. Oh, that was sweetness! Thanks. We all could use a bit of sweetness in these bitter days.

  6. I think that I shall never see a poem lovely as a tree... poem.

I was expecting something snarky for some reason. This is charming.

  7. This poem spoke to me as something deeper than just an ode to the goodness of trees. The lines "standing up to power lines", "standing against the wind", "sweeping away the night", and "holding on to the hope of warmer days to come" were like a balm to me this morning.
