I think Daylight Savings Time is ridiculous and I hate it. Why on earth do we still do this? Maybe it had some value in the past, but I can't think of a good reason to keep it up in this day and age. I've felt "off" all week and it's been really hard to wake up in the morning. Then there's all the clocks that have to be changed--what a pain! I wish we could pick a time and leave it alone already.
You know who hasn't had to drag themselves out of bed an hour earlier and trudge off to work in the (still) dark of night this week?
These two bums:
I snapped these photos right before leaving Monday morning. Don't they look cozy and comfortable? No lost hour of sleep for them!
I agree 100%. Pick a time and keep it!!!!
ReplyDeleteThey sure do look nice and comfy! Um Jennifer... last night I was talking to my friend Di and saying the exact same thing. Why do my days still feel off? Honestly, when are they going to stop this sh-t!
ReplyDeleteWe need standard time!
ReplyDeleteI agree 100%. I HATE DST and that's from someone who lives far north but prefers Standard Time. It stays light way too late here in the summer and totally throws off my body clock.
ReplyDeleteI bet they're both wondering why their dinner is an hour late, though!
ReplyDeleteDST has been around since 1918 so I doubt very much if they're going to get rid of it, if anything, they might make it permanent.
ReplyDeletewe in Arizona don't do no stinkin DST but 2x a year I have to remember what time is it everywhere else.
