Taken in the zinnia bed early this morning.
Zinnias are great for attracting butterflies. This one's beautiful.
Beautiful! 🙂
WOW wow wow what a capture!!
Beautiful.
Stunning!
Gorgeous and so big.
Spectacular! I've never seen one of these in real life.
Those are amazing butterfly shots! I've seen several of my garden this year but I haven't been too quick to snap the picture. They flutter around fast.
This one was so enamored with the flowers it held still for long stretches of time while I snapped photos!
It's a beauty. And big! I'd guess at least 4 or 5 inches across when it's wings are spread fully.
So beautiful!!!!
Wow! Beautiful pictures of a beautiful butterfly. A true summer visitor, as your headline says.
I have never believed in God but the existence of the eastern tiger swallowtail butterfly gives one pause for thought. Beautiful.
Amazing shots, Jennifer! So beautiful!
Wow! I know how hard it is to get a shot of those beauties. Excellent.
The title “Sparrow Tree Journal” drew me in and when I saw Tiger Swallowtails I knew I was at the right place!
